Ramblings

I've added some links to photographers that I admire. I still have quite a few more links to add.

I've been busy painting my bathroom and putting my note cards together so I haven't done much picture taking. :) My kiddos are with their Grammy and Papa so I can get my painting done without fingerprints. I took this photo of the teddy that was left behind.

The bath photos are of my little punk. I took these a couple of weeks ago. I love how kids can truely be themselves. The expressions that we, as photographers, capture are priceless.

Note Cards

My note cards are almost ready to package and send out. These photos are BEFORE they are folded, so the polka dots will be on the back of the card, the inside is blank. I'm sending out samples to retailers. Now I just have to convince them to buy them. Any ideas? I am selling these in packages of 10. 5 designs, 2 of each design. They will be for sale on my website as well. If anyone has any advice to give, I would love to hear it. Does anyone reading this have any experience in this area?

Summer Days

I had some family out last week. I had a lot of fun taking pictures. This one looks like it was easy, but let me tell you...it wasn't. :) My little guy, in the middle, refused to hold his ice cream cone. Way to messy for him. I had to keep chasing him down. Meanwhile the kids ice cream was melting everywhere. My oldest daughter, the girl in the braids, was wearing her ice cream. My cousin (the mom of the two on the right) and her boyfriend were holding a scrim over the kids to prevent the harsh sun from shining on kids.
Finally I remembered that I had a lollipop in my purse. That kept my little punk still long enough to take a few quick shots. It was fun...now that I look back on it. :) Here are a couple more from the same time, after they ate their cones.
